Navigational Vessel supports the Aceh Tsunami Aids

In order to support the distribution of aids to the Aceh Tsunami victims, the Indonesia Directorate General of Sea Communication (Ditjen Hubla) assigned the navigational vessels from Ditrict of Navigation Belawan, Tanjung Pinang and Sibolga. These vessel are KN. Altair, KN. Jadayat & KN. Arcturus which are basicly buoytender vessel that usually perform maintenance of Aids to Navitgaion along the Malacca Strait, North Sumatera & Aceh Waters. They has been performing support to the aids since 29 December 2004. until today. They help to carry aids such as tends, foods, clothes etc. from Belawan, Sibolga and ather harbors to Aceh. Even with the limited budget for patrol and operational cost, the crews maintain the duty the best they can give.
